I’m Sandie/Whaea Sandie/Mrs H, and you’ll often find me in the office juggling a variety of tasks.

My background is in education; I spent the better part of 25 years teaching in primary schools across the Matamata-Piako district. After a hiatus from the classroom, I spent the last seven years working for the global publishing company Scholastic working in schools, bookshops and libraries.

I am married to a teacher, and we are officially empty nesters. Our three adult children are out in the big wide world discovering what it has to offer.
We love to spend our spare time exploring New Zealand in our motorhome—always with a good book in hand.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be back working with children as I know in my heart I was meant to teach - this is what makes me really happy.
